Hunter Valley Express is a local family owned company who plan to be around for the long haul. We're a Newcastle based transport company, but we service Sydney, the Central Coast, the greater Hunter Region and Port Stephens on a daily basis, and will travel intra and inter-state to service our customers needs. All Hunter Valley Express vehicles have GPS vehicle trackers linked to innovative fleet management software from Verizon Connect; a trusted leader in the telematics industry. We can monitor and manage our entire fleet so our deliveries are more efficient and get to their destination quickly and cost effectively.
In addition to our deliveries being tracked electronically, all bookings and consignment notes are created, managed and invoiced electronically. Our express delivery customers can now obtain instant Proof of Deliveries (POD) at a click of a button. Our crane truck and express delivery customers can log in to their worksite portal to obtain current information on their delivery and obtain their POD's.
All employees are trained in, and regularly audited on their knowledge and practice of load restraining systems, fatigue management and chain of responsibility obligations. To ensure our express deliveries and crane truck deliveries are as efficient as possible, all drivers are supplied with full PPE including hard hats, gloves, eye and ear protection, and hi-vis long sleeve shirts and long pants which comply to Australian and New Zealand Standards 4602.1:2011 and 4399:1996. These standards exceed most work site safety requirements which means our team are ready and able to access more sites safely.
All Hunter Valley Express vehicles are regularly serviced and undergo a rigorous maintenance schedule to ensure safety, reliability and compliance with local and federal heavy vehicle regulations.
